The treatments are carried out with a laser beam that picks up the color difference and lightens it up without damaging the skin or nearby tissue.
Number of treatments: Commonly it takes at least 4 treatments to get rid of pigmentation and sun damage. In case of brown spots, age spots, freckles and moles, 2-4 treatments are recommended for optimal results, depending on the body part and the treatment form. A month should pass between treatments.
In between treatments: We recommend using Neauvia C-Shot Serum on the treatment area since it fights sun damage and evens out uneven skin tone. It is important however to let the skin heal fully after each treatment before applying it on the skin.
After treatment: Redness and swelling can be felt in the treatment area immediately after treatment and can last from 1-2 days and up to a week, depending on the treatment area. In some cases blisters, wounds and scab may form after treatment. It is a completely normal reaction of the skin, but it is important to let the scab heal fully for optimal results. It is recommended to apply a healing lotion on the treatment area for a few days after each treatment and follow strict hygienic measures to prevent infections.
· Apply a healing lotion on the treatment area twice a day for one week.
· Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds for at least a week.
· Avoid going to the swimming pool for 1-7 days, depending on the treatment form.
· Use sunscreen (at least SPF 30) for at least one week.
